Welcome to the site dedicated to the men and women who served in South America, the Carribean and radar sites along the U.S. border with the counter-drug mission. These are various photos that I have available from the dets. A little bit of background, These photos are mostly of Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force active duty and Air Force Reserve. These were radar sites set up for the detection of possible drug-runners. Our secondary missions which fell mostly to the Security Forces of the 24th Wing, Howard AFB, and U.S. Army Special Operations teams was the training of host nation forces in counter-drug ops.
